Each key tag is laser engraved in our studio in Illinois on finished Baltic Birch wood and comes with a ball chain so it can be attached to keys, a backpack, or even a jacket. **The wood for this product is sourced from self-sustaining forests in the Appalachian and Cascade mountain ranges of the US and into parts of Canada. These forests have been deemed self-sustaining since these forests now contain more harvestable wood than 100 years ago due to the best practices and ethical principles of the lumber harvesters within the regions.
